GLAMPING IN NORFOLK
We know we’re a little biased being nestled in Pulham Market, but glamping in Norfolk is something that everyone should experience at least once in their lives. Why? Well, the list is quite extensive, but let’s delve into the magic of glamping in Norfolk and why people travel from all over the UK to stay at Driftways.
Why is glamping in Norfolk so popular?
There are hundreds of locations people could choose from across the UK to glamp, so what’s special about Norfolk? Well, glamping in Norfolk has the edge over most places because you’re surrounded by countryside, the coast and nature.
Rolling countryside for miles, stunning coastlines, parks, forests and stately homes make glamping in Norfolk a great place to explore the outdoors. In Pulham Market, where Driftways is located, there are 14 public footpaths, meaning there’s plenty for you to explore when glamping with us.
If you’ve not been on a glamping holiday in Norfolk before, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the 90 miles of coastline. There’s every type of beach you could imagine, from pristine sand, to soaring cliffs, shingle bays, estuaries and saltmarshes.

Clear skies
If you love stargazing, glamping in Norfolk is a must, especially at Driftways where the light pollution is very low. On a clear night you could literally spend hours watching the night’s sky enveloped by the warmth of the fire fit.
If you don’t mind a short drive to North Norfolk, it’s one of the few places in the UK where you can see the northern lights, or aurora borealis.
Same freedom of camping, just with a little luxury
Glamping is fast becoming one of the most popular holiday choices. Glamping in Norfolk is the effortlessly simple and luxurious to camp and allows you to make your stay whatever you want it to be.
You can go exploring for miles with the children, discover nature, and build lifelong memories with those you love. You can spend your entire time at our glamping site, like so many families do, or you can use your bell tent as a luxury camp base and venture out on day trips.
When you glamp, you’ll find there’s lots of privacy too. At Driftways, you’ll feel as if you’re nestled in your own meadow as we allow plenty of space between each bell tent so that all you can hear is the odd whisper and the hoot of our resident owl.
You’ll absolutely love coming back from a day out to relax by the fire and, excuse the pun, but drift away into a perfect night’s sleep in a bell tent that’s every bit as a luxurious as the name ‘glamping’ implies!
