FACILITIES

Toilets

We pride ourselves in having super-clean composting toilets with one private toilet per pitch. Composting toilets are really easy to use and do not smell if used correctly. You will receive information on how to use them on arrival.

Showers

Our showers run on LPG gas with a solar powered pump to remain as eco as possible. They can sometimes be affected by weather but on the whole are a wonderful experience, refreshing and hot.

Washing up and water provision

There are areas available to wash up on-site, Drinking water is available on-site.

Recycling and glass

We have provided bins for recycling and ask that you use them accordingly. Our local authority does accept glass in the normal recycling, however since this is a family site based on grass we do ask that glass use is minimal and extra care is taken to avoid breakages. If any glass is broken on the field please do let us know so we can try and make sure it is fully cleared up.

Your pitch

Each pitch has its own toilet, camp fire area and camp grill. A map of the Driftways site is available here.

The Dairy - across the lane at the Farmhouse

We have plug sockets for charging devices and a fridge/ freezer for your use. Please do ensure that any freezer blocks and food items are labelled to ensure they don't get mixed up.

Drinking water is provided from our private well. It is filtered, goes through a UV clarifier and is tested annually by the local authority.

There is a site notice board with site information and details of local attractions. Just Eat is available to deliver to site. Use Postcode IP21 4XW, (Moat Farm)
